لا تقبل صلاة من أحدث حتى يتوضأ

Similarly, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala says,
"O those who believe, if you want to do the prayer, then wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, and you rub your head and wash your feet up to the ankles." (QS. Al-Maidah: 6)

Actually perform ablutions for a Muslim has many virtues as mentioned in the hadiths Rosululloh Sholallohu 'alaihi Wassalam. Among its virtues is removing errors and minor sins for anyone who enhance wudhunya. For anyone who wants to take lessons about the virtues of this. Narrated by Imam Muslim and Ahmad from the path of Uthman ibn Affan that Rosululloh Sholalllohu 'alaihi Wassalam said;
من توضأ فأحسن الوضوء خرجت خطاياه من جسده, حتى تخرج من تحت أظفاره
"Those who perform ablution and then smarten wudhunya, undoubtedly his mistakes out of his body to get out from under his nails." (HR. Muslim and Ahmad)
Diriwayatakan by Imam Muslim from the path of former slaves Humran radhiyallohu'anhu Uthman. Humran said:
سمعت عثمان بن عفان وهو بفناء المسجد فجاءه المؤذن عند العصر فدعا بوضوء فتوضأ ثم قال والله لأحدثنكم حديثا لولا آية فى كتاب الله ما حدثتكم إنى سمعت رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- يقول «لا يتوضأ رجل مسلم فيحسن الوضوء فيصلى صلاة إلا غفر الله له ما بينه وبين الصلاة التى تليها
"I heard Uthman ibn Affan rodhiyallohu'anhu when he was in the courtyard of the mosque and then came a mu'adzin the time for Asr comes. Uthman then ask to be taken ablutions, then he ablution. Afterwards he said, "By Allah, indeed I will tell you a hadith. If it were not for a verse in the Kitabulloh undoubtedly I would not be telling this to you. I heard the Messenger Sholallohu 'alaihi Wassalam said,' It is not a Muslim ablution, and then doing the wudhunya smarten prayers but Allah will forgive his sins from that time until the next prayer.. ' "(HR. Muslim)
Narrated by Imam Muslim from Abu Hurairoh rodhiyallohu'anhu, Rosululloh Sholallohu 'alaihi Wassalam said,
إذا توضأ العبد المسلم - أو المؤمن - فغسل وجهه خرج من وجهه كل خطيئة نظر إليها بعينيه مع الماء - أو مع آخر قطر الماء - فإذا غسل يديه خرج من يديه كل خطيئة كان بطشتها يداه مع الماء - أو مع آخر قطر الماء - فإذا غسل رجليه خرجت كل خطيئة مشتها رجلاه مع الماء - أو مع آخر قطر الماء - حتى يخرج نقيا من الذنوب.
"If a Muslim or a believer servants perform ablutions, then he washed his face will be out of his face along the water-or along the water droplets terakhir- all the mistakes she did with her a second glance. When he washed his hands will be out of the hands along the water-or along the water droplets terakhir- all the mistakes he did with both hands. When he washed his legs will be out along the water-or together with water droplets terakhir- all the mistakes he did with his legs, until finally he'll be out in a clean state of sin. "(HR. Muslim)
Regarding this Hadith, Imam an-Nawawi rohimahulloh in the book Syarh shohih Muslims juz 3 page 132 that is sin here is the small sins not great sins as described and also in another narration that the removal of sins the minor is bound by abstaining from major sins.
